Who am I?
My name is Renée DeVault-Brisco. I am a licensed health and accident insurance agent working with Family Heritage to offer supplemental coverage to the Kansas City Metro area.
But I am also an actress, an artist, a dog mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend, and an educator. I don't believe people can be defined by their jobs...I guess that's why I like insurance that you don't have to get through work.
My family went through a health crisis a few years ago and I know the type of insurance I sell would have been an absolute game changer during that time. When the opportunity to work with Family Heritage came up, I knew I wanted to be the type of insurance agent that made people feel comfortable and informed, not pressured or scared into buying anything.

Accident & Injury
Accidents can happen to anyone, and most of the time, they happen off the clock. Supplemental accident and injury policies can pay money directly to the policy holder, allowing them to continue to pay their bills even if they cannot work. Individuals on family plans also enjoy having the funds to take off work if their child or spouse is injured.
Cancer
Cancer is a huge, overwhelming fear for many people. I get it. A lot of supplemental cancer plans are sold through fear and emotional tugging, something I never want to do. If you think this is something you should look into for your family, I would be honored to talk you through a cancer policy and answer any questions you might have in a low-pressure environment.
Heart Attack & Stroke
It's no secret that heart disease is a growing concern among American families. If it's a concern you feel, I'd love to walk you through our CardiaCare policies to find one to fit your needs. Maybe we can talk about it over a heart-healthy smoothie or salad.
Intensive Care Unit
In addition to the three main policies listed above, I can offer an ICU policy that attaches to and adds to the policy. This is a great way for families to add extra coverage to their extra coverage. I'd be happy to explain how it works to you during any of the consultations I offer.

Educational
I have always loved learning. There's something truely empowering about understanding something. I want all of my clients to fully understand the products I am presenting to them. I encourage asking questions. Even if you're able to stump me, I will find the answer for you.
Relational
You should have a relationship with any insurance agent you work with. The fact that my policies can be offered to families outside the workplace makes relationships even more important. You should know who I am and trust me enough to ask questions and invite me into your life to help you file claims if needed.
Local
I grew up in Olathe Kansas, went to Olathe South High School, went to college in Olathe, (briefly fled the country to do my grad program in England, don't hold that against me) and settled down to spend most of my adult life so far in Kansas City. I'm from the area, I know the people and the culture, and I'm not leaving anytime soon.
Licensed
I am licensed to solicit insurance sales in health and accident through the states of Missouri and Kansas. I am passionate about knowing my industry, being a lifetime learner, and being responsible and ethical in the way I conduct business.
